Mr. Rahul Bhagat has been serving as the Director of Food & Beverages at Conrad Pune since February 2017 and is responsible for the overall functioning, marketing and revenues of the entire F&B division. Mr. Bhagat leads a team of 107 team members.

In his current profile at Conrad Pune, Mr. Bhagat is responsible for the seamless functioning of the F&B departments and employees in sync with the international brand standards while ensuring client satisfaction. He also assists in the preparation and execution of the Annual F&B Business Plan and marketing strategies for the overall hotel and individual outlets. He is also personally involved in the recruitment, training and motivation of the F&B team.

An extremely qualified professional with over 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Bhagat joined Conrad Pune after gaining immense experience working with different hotels across India.
Mr. Bhagat joined Conrad Pune in October 2015 as an Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. During the hotel’s pre-opening phase, he has been responsible for supervising the successful opening of 6 F&B outlets, 20000 sq. ft. Banqueting space, In-room Dining and Minibar for 310 rooms.

Koji, the in-house Pan Asian Fine dine restaurant at Conrad Pune was ranked #34 amongst the Top 50 restaurants in the country by Conde Nast and the only one to feature in the list from Pune. Under Mr. Bhagat’s outstanding leadership, Conrad Pune was awarded the Best F&B Department in the entire APAC Division for Hilton Hotels which has more than 350 hotels. Conrad Pune is currently ranked 3rd for F&B establishment in terms of SALT scores for Guest satisfaction amongst all the Conrad hotels, WORLDWIDE.

Having completed his B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration from Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Mumbai (2003 – 2006), Rahul Bhagat was Awarded “Excellent in Performance” during the Industrial Exposure Training at The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai. He was an active member of the Employee training modules at Hyatt and is a certified Skills and Groups Trainer. He is also been a multiple Times Food Guide Award Winner at the Conrad Pune and Grand Hyatt Goa.

In times of leisure, Mr. Bhagat enjoys keeping abreast with the developments in the International F&B Scene and is passionate about catching up with the latest movies, videogames and cricket.
