Dipan is a Chartered Accountant by qualification & an Entrepreneur by heart. He has been in the food business since 2001 when their family distribution business of MK Ingredients & Specialities was established.
Business of MK Ingredients was supply of Food Chemicals, Ingredients & Speciality chemicals to the Food Processing Industry & it was acquired in 2019 by AZELIS – a Global Multinational Distribution Co headquartered in Belgium. Dipan led the Azelis South Asia business for Food & Nutrition from March 2019 till Oct 2022 and from Nov 2022 Dipan has taken up the role of Market Segment Director at Azelis Asia Pacific in Singapore. He is leading the Business Developments & Principal Relationships for all of Asia Pacific within the Food & Nutrition segment.
In his career of more than 22+ years in the food ingredients industry, Dipan has worn many hats like being a business owner & entrepreneur to leading the same business under the umbrella of Azelis for India & South Asia and now taken a larger role & responsibility to grow and develop the food industry at the Asia Pacific level.
His key strengths are an Astute understanding of business environment with great acumen, Strategic Planning & Thinking, Leading businesses and team from the front, very good marketing skills amongst many others. His Chartered Accountancy knowledge does well to help him in the costing, finance & taxation aspects of the business.
Dipan is also an active angel investor associated with start-ups. He not only is an investor, but also works with some of them to help out in their set up as a Mentor & Advisor to them.
