Jacob George is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and
Director of McGill Foods.
An ardent supporter of sustainability and food ethics, George’s fervor lead him to create Eatopia World. A brand that is truly unique with every single product it creates. He went on to introduce “monofloral honey” to the mainstream. Eatopia World now proudly showcases multiple monofloral and multi-floral honey. Another distinctive creation of the brand is a healthy snack called Energy snacks that carries all the essential nutrients and none of the additives or preservatives found in popular energy bars, packed in a single bite-sized pop.
With George’s innovations, Eatopia World now produces distinctly unique and healthy products like Honey jam with 100% real fruit, and zero sugar, additives or preservatives, Healthy Snacks - a healthy non-fried, gluten-free snack that has zero cholesterol and trans fat, and Fruit Minis - a delectable dessert made with 100% natural ingredients.
With over 15 years of experience in the food industry, George has been an integral part of many top-tier food manufacturing companies in India.
George has previously had leading roles in companies like Marico Ltd, ITC Ltd and Synthite Industries, before channelling his passion to create healthy, junk-free, clean-label foods.
A graduate of Karunya University, George obtained a B.Tech degree in Food Processing Engineering in 2009. He received his PGDBA from Symbiosis, Pune in 2014.
