With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Saji is know for his expertise in Change Management with key strengths in Marketing ,Revenue management and historic and traditional cuisine.

Strongly inspired by the management concept of 'The Innovation Process" Saji was critical in conceptualizing and implementing path breaking standards and concepts that set a bench mark in the industry. The first airport'meet and greet' program in Mumbai city, the Butler service concept @ The Leela Mumbai, the Palace services concept for the Taj Palaces namely the Rambagh Palace and The Lake Palaceare among them.

Known to be one of the few "Mavericks" who is willing to tread paths less taken, He continuously challenges himself by working with brands that were looking at introducing and establishing themselves in the Indian Market like the Radisson Plaza and Alila hotels. Not only did he accomplish the set goal but these properties won several awards within the initial years of operation itself. Challenging himself further also meant working with existing propertiesthat needed restructuring and re-engineeringof the business tobe profitable or to be competitive in the current scenario.

Wanting to add a more holistic perspective to his skills, he set off in an entrepreneurial role and set up the hospitality division and launched Xandari as a Brand for Muthoot group and restructured the Malabar Escapes group which has 2 Relais and Chateaux properties.

Adverse events like floods and even Current pandemic have not been able to stop him from reaching his goals. Currently back with the Alila (a Hyatt hotel now)he has achieved record business and profits for the property within the first year 2021.

He has gained a reputation in the industry for being an Astute Hospitality Professional with admirable Business and Leadership skills and thepassion and willingness to Mentora whole new generation of Hospitality Leaders.
